The UK Squirrel Accord celebrated their 10-year anniversary in 2025, and now with 45 signatories across a range of sectors, it was definitely a milestone to celebrate. Whilst there, I was honored to present my research to Baroness Hayman, who (at time of writing) serves as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

The conference was held at the University of Greenwich in June 2025 and covered a range of topics including red squirrel conservation, disease, genetics, tree damage, and grey squirrel fertility control. For more information on the event, visit squirrelaccord.uk/uksa-conference-2025.
